I began hooking this rug in 2019 with Kathy Spellacy as my teacher. The rug was changed as we decided not to use the original border. Kathy was a great teacher and had such good tips every day.


Unite

This pattern was originally named Union. Given today's climate, I felt changing it to Unite felt more appropriate. I was drawn to this pattern by the flag, the flowers and the opportunity to create an interesting background in the center section.
