Wool Whisperers Chapter

Meeting Information:

Meets on the last Sunday of every month, either in person or on zoom.  For more details, contact one of the chapter officers.

Chapter History:

The Wool Whisperers Chapter was established in July of 2012 when a few women, interested in learning more about the art, gathered in each others homes on Sunday mornings.  One of these women was Director of Activities at a nearby retirement village, and she gained approval for the group to meet in their community center.  The growing Guild soon expanded to fit this larger space.

During Covid, the Guild continued to have monthly meetings on Zoom and occasionally at Upper Gwynedd Township Park in North Wales.  Now consisting of over 48 members, the Wool Whisperers meet in the North Wales Borough Hall one Sunday a month.  In addition to monthly meetings, we sponsor classes with visiting teachers, have hook-ins, craft sales, and demos.  We also co-ordinate with other local guilds in various activities.
