The chapter meets on the third Thursday of every month, 10 am- 2 pm except September at the San Jose Rose Garden Library, 1580 Naglee Ave, San Jose, CA 95126. For more information, contact Rebecca Smith at smithrebsmith@aol.com.
For many years the guild has done some kind of challenge or collaborative project, usually brainstorming in January ideas of what the project might be. When choosing a group project or challenge we look for teachable features and tasks that will take us out of our comfort zone.
Additionally, the guild has held a 3-4 day rug camp in September, enjoying the skills and insight that many wonderful teachers have brought to us over the years. This camp is held at conference sites in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains which serve as much as a restorative as does the camaraderie and friendships that come with enjoying a common interest for so many years.
