Don’t feel that you’re alone on your rug hooking journey. You never know how many ATHA members might live nearby. In 2000, the Heart of Texas chapter started when a lone hooker thought it was time to invite ATHA members from Austin, San Antonio, and the surrounding towns to share fellowship in her living room. The chapter was born on that day from the excitement of so many like-minded folks coming together to enjoy a traditional art and craft. Don’t be a stranger; we’re still excited about rug hooking.
