The Colorado Rug and Fiber Guild is dedicated to outreach, education, and growing the fiber arts community. We build awareness at meetings through featured artist lectures, member demonstrations, and member “Show and Share” sessions. Chapter Events:

The Colorado Rug and Fiber Guild’s events are dedicated to outreach, education and growing the rug hooking and punching community.

Our Monthly Meetings feature artist lectures, member demonstrations and “Show and Tell” events. We welcome new members to attend – Contact CRFG Board  should you or anyone you know wishes to attend a meeting – we have complimentary starter kits available for any beginners who wish to learn.

We conduct Outreach Demonstrations and Education Events at community fairs and gatherings to grow the fiber arts community. Contact CRFG Board should you or anyone you know wish our outreach team to attend your event.

We host Hook-ins with vendors, teachers, demonstrations, beginner classes, a silent auction and a rug show.

We inspire Member Projects to actively support  ATHA Biennial Conventions—especially those in our region.

Chapter History:

The Colorado Rug and Fiber Guild was formed in 2010 to promote and further the advancement of rug hooking in Colorado.  Our members come from all over Colorado;  in addition to the Denver Metro area, they travel from Colorado Springs and south, including Greeley, Fort Collins, Estes Park, Longmont, Loveland, and the Western Slope areas of Grand Lake, Grand Junction, and Steamboat Springs.
