Sandy was an enthusiastic fiber artist who loved knitting, felting, rug hooking, and crochet. She was involved with many other art media and groups as well.
She enjoyed traveling and her gregarious personality made many friends the world over. Sandy's sense of design was legendary and she drew up many of her own rug designs. A recurring theme in her art was her love of cats. Sandy knitted and felted many, many cat beds for the shelter in Longmont, CO — her home.
The members of the Colorado Rug and Fiber Guild will miss her engaging smile and conversation.
